Curtains

We are excited to introduce you to our Curtains page. Curtains and soft furnishings have become increasingly popular and our curtain design team can help you choose the best curtain design, fabric and accessories such as pelmets, poles, valances, swags and tails. We have a superb collection of bespoke made-to-measure curtains and pelmets. We provide that personal service for your home so that you get that traditional yet elegant look, style and fabric for your home décor.

What to choose?

We have an ever increasing amount of pinch pleat curtains and eyelets curtains. The curtains we can design all have different selections of curtain and valence headings whether your curtains will be on a track or a pole. We also have multiple tie-back designs. Headings for curtains can be made up in a wide range of styles. For example, they can be pleated, gathered, smocked or informally assembled. All of our curtains and headings are hand-sewn and provide the best possible finish to a curtain as opposed to being machine taped which are usually found from off the shelf curtain and retail companies. The hand-sewn curtains also ensure the curtain has its fullness as more fabric is required when making the curtain.

Poles

Poles are traditional, decorative and versatile and are usually suitable for all types of rooms and designs. We provide a number of different types of pole in brass, iron or wood dowelling. The type of pole used can be important as it can set the mood of the room and the size of the pole should be in keeping with the style and proportion of the interior. The poles have different types of ends and finials.

Finials

We have a large array of finials available such as:

  • Twisted ball gadroon finials
  • Cup and orb finial
  • Plain ball finial
  • Pointed gadroon finial
  • Medieval

Pelmets

Pelmets can be a fantastic addition to a room and window which is covered with curtains and/or blinds.  The shape can be a straight band, or the lower
edge can be gently curved. Fabrics can match the fabric of the curtain or blind and can be patterned or plain.
